Thanks for the reply. I'm very happy with the sound out the mixer. It has a few issues...a ground loop problem and the +48 dosent seem to work well but otherwise suits my needs.
I've read the mixer is unbalanced except for the mic inputs for i have used unbalanced cables and the buzz goes down to a workable useage point. I keep the mail 2 stereo outputs at half and if useing a channel to record or 7 and 8 to monitor i can turn the faded up with no probles there but i would like to try to resolve the loop issue somehow.
Thanks for the input ,
mike

Sounds like you will need a tech to sort it out.

If you only had 100 to 150 to spend on a small 4 channel amp what brand amp would you look at.
Thanks for any suggestions

How about giving us any of the half-dozen or so plugins that have already been announced/mentioned instead of more vaporware announcements? At this rate well see Trident emulations sometime in 2015.
Well, I do not know what half a dozen or so plug ins you are speaking of. Please remember, we do not do them. They have been licensed to UA and Softube. So it appears you are angry, so be angry at them.
As for the Trident A-Range, that plug in from UA is at our Booth at the AES show this week. A lot of people will get to hear them and maybe they will report about them.
If you want to wait until 2015 to buy the A- Range plug in from UA, that is fine...but I think you can call them and order it a lot sooner than that

The CDR.EXE is the executable that was used for CDR software versions prior to the CDR DICOM software. For the CDR DICOM software the executable is CDRDICOM.EXE and is located in the path C:Program FilesSchick TechnologiesCDR DICOM for Windows . You need to edit the Trident link and point it to the CDRDICOM.EXE executable file.

I see. Ill have to purchase more mikes. The amp is an old Fender acoustisonic. I only have three mics now, and they are all used for vocals. We dont have an amp for the mandolin, so could I just plug it into a DI box, then into a channel on the snake and adjust volumes accordingly?
