Pretty soon, you will start to see a new B1 in the box....We have added on two switches, so it looks like a B3, but the new B1 offers two selectable pads, 10/20dB, and two selectable filters, 75/150hZ filters...

More updates are coming on products soon as well.....

hey Alan, im still waiting for those J47a pics u promised...im also thinking of a 3Q or maybe an MC2...the 3Q scares me cause of the ratio thing (fixed 5:1), but anyways..

any news on the meekser? idd surely love to see that website updated man..nothing feeds gas as much as pics :D

We showed it for the first time at the New York AES.... We will ship this in a matter of weeks....

which other products are being updated?

In 2006, the entire B and C Series line will be updated. New look, new electronics, new sound.....

Plus, we will add more Series as well...CS and E Series

.......or a price increase in the new models?

I don't remember seeing the new B1 at AES, but I WAS impressed with the new Joe Meek Mics. Guess I should have paid more attention. I was too focused on the console. :o

Well, we keep getting increases in our prices, especially now that everything has to go to ROHS compliancy... Not to mention the fuel surcharges I am paying.

We have not had a price increase in 6 years. We have added more features and value on our products for the last 6 years, and have not raised prices... Now we are upgrading the entire line with new circuit designs for better sonic reproductions, new sleeker finishes to make them look better, and new models to expand on our line, including ribbon mikes.

As always, all of these designs are done in house, not by Chinese engineers, and then assembled in our factories in China.

Unfortunately, the time has come to raise our prices, but to pay 10 to 20% more for a mic that is better by 85% to me is still a great deal. All of this will come to light in the coming months. Right now, we have plenty of inventory to sell, and it will still be a while until the new mikes, and the updated mikes hit the streets, with the exception of the B1 and C1 that will offer more features, but have the same look, until we can finish the final circuits.

So, hang back, enjoy the ride....A lot is coming in 2006. :)
