I had recorded my daughter's high school choir on the 12th using a pair of C1's. These are a small group of singers dressed in Mideival attire called the Madrigal Singers.

Please enjoy !

What equipment did you run with the C1s to record that? That was a very clean recording. Sounds like Waves Eqs too.

Thank you for your kind words. I ran the C1's into a Digidesign 002 using Digi pres, and yes I did use Waves EQ's.

I have been very happy with the C1's. I just recently recorded Verdi's Requiem with Full orchestra, and 100+ choir with 4 soloists, I put the C1's in as a spot pair for the vocalists. It added a nice touch to the recording.

Hi Gene,

I'd like to know if you will be posting some of the Requiem? I'm a tenor and would be interested in hearing the solo. I'm really interested in hearing how the C1's sounded on the vocals.

Good job on the choir. They sound really good. It's great they have someone like you who will take the time to properly record them.

I am not able to post the Requiem, these are all union musicians and I would be in BIG trouble if I did  I will say that the conductor and Musical Director were very pleased with the final product though and the C1's had a part in it.

I love doing the High Schools and Colleges. These students are just so passionate about what they do. Getting them a good recording of their hard work and dedication is the least that I can do !

Thank you again for listening and your kind words.

Gene
