ATB-16 Firewire ad converter Suggestions!!

Hi everybody, this is my first post and the ATB-16 will be my first**console! Right now I have a Firepod and always missed an real*EQ. I think i will be pleased will this consoles. I'm thinking of the echo audiofire 12 for now. i wanted the digital option card but its not ready yet so I need a plan B.**I'm on a very tight budget * apogee is not an option for me right now!!**By the way I have an Imac 20' 2ghz Intel duo with windows XP. Sorry for my wording, I'm french!! ;)

No problem with your English... There are lots of solutions out there for outboard converters. Do some searching... Jukebox is a good source in France for that.

Hi Alan , thanks to reply. I thought no one would give away their secrets ...lol....I do not live in France, I'm a Canadian and french. I did the search and found the juke box ltd in france, but no chance with firewire converters... i saw some new ssl converters but its just a dream right now.... like Freddy mercury once said "i'm just a poor boy". ...16 channels would be very cool. but i can live with 12 channels. :o
