Has anyone used the C1 in a live situation? We've been using the old standby SM58 for years, and would like to try using the C1. We're just a duo playing small venues, so I thought it might be a possibility.
Any tips on EQ when using the C1 live?

Thanks,

Cabbitt

Not my choice for a live gig. The C1 is a condenser and they pick up everything around it.

Hi Alan,

Your point is well taken. The C1 would be problematic live. There are condensers that are being made for live performance, though. The Audio-Technica AE3300, for instance.
Any chance Studio Projects will make such a mic in the future? I think such a mic would be a great addition to your arsenal, and would be great for micing amps, cymbals, and vocals.
And, you will have sold two of them before they even get off the drawing board! :)

Perhaps, smaller diaphragm condensers for stage use is something we have been looking at, but nothing until next year...maybe!
