I just read a post by a friend who definitely needs help but it sounds like he's just going to abandon his C1. Can you let me know what he should do?

Thanks,
Bruce

"I bought a C1 a few months ago, liked my Rode better for vocals, but the C1 was great for acoustic guitar..last week it (the C1) stopped working..it was making noise that was as loud as the signal should have been..I thought "no problem, the warranty is still good..took it off the stand and dropped it, bent the screen just enough that I could never convince the repair guys that it broke and THEN I dropped it..oh well..."

Well, if it is only a bent headstock, he should send it in. If it is an electrical problem, we will still fix it. If he broke the capsule, then that is really not our fault, but would certainly help him out with discounted repairs. We don't care if it is dropped or not as long as the drop did not bust the capsule.

All he has to do is call and get an ATR#. We will see what we can do...
