How to set the OneQ to be clock slave?
Well, the subject basically says it all - my current configuration is:
Microphone (Rode NT1)
OneQ
SPDIF/Out =>
=> Tascam FW-1884 SPDIF/In
Firewire/Out => Sonar 5PE
P4 , 3GhZ , 2G RAM , (2) SATA HD
FW-1884 SPDIF/Out => Sony CD-R Digital In
I currently have the FW-1884 set to receive clock on Digital In (SPDIF)
Sample rates on all devices/software is 44.1 KhZ (for CD production,
a what-you-hear-is-what-you-get setting).
I would rather have the FW-1884 as the only clock generator,
so the FW is feeding clock to the OneQ
The FW also has BNC clock out.
Unless it is somehow preferable that the OneQ be the
master , or if it doesn't make any difference ?
I could see hooking a BNC clock cable out from FW, would OneQ
switch into slave mode?
Thanks for any assistance on this question ;-)
