OneQ: using both mic inputs?

Hey all, love my OneQ... (easily replaced my avalon 737 in fact)

just wondering, is it really bad to use both mic inputs simultaneously? i occasionally need to plug in another mic than my neumann, and its more convenient on the front. the manual says not to, but not why not to.

Anytime you plug a mic into the front XLR, it auromatically overides the rear connector.
